hhah...Wow, look at all this pickle inspiration! :)

hhaha Biz I made them a few days ago - my posts are still a little behind from the NC trip updates. I've already eaten one of the jars and about 1/3rd of the storage container. They have such a unique taste, and are so crisp that they become addicting. I think "ok one more" and then next thing I know I've eaten 5.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02170704307873703753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2688876477955108247.post-28490994446337475372009-08-18T20:21:54.225-05:002009-08-18T20:21:54.225-05:00Damn, you beat me to it! We used ...Homemade pickles are definitely the best! We used to make refrigerator pickles in the summer, and we used to make regular pickles too. I remember how hot it always got in the kitchen with the big canning water bath on the stove. Ugh!

The good thing about it was being able to make random pickles that we didn't find at the store-- like watermelon rind pickles. I used to love those. I think you may have inspired me to pickle something!! :-)Sweetie Piehttp://thisisjustsweetenough.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2688876477955108247.post-87978391048377620502009-08-18T12:52:24.760-05:002009-08-18T12:52:24.760-05:00I have everything I need!
